Turn-Key Service
We’ll handle all the research, sourcing, fertilizing, and delivery for your displays and provide regular maintenance. So you’ll never have to worry about wilting, re-potting, or strenuous upkeep.
Sustainable Practice
We aim for zero waste, by exclusively using vintage vases and never using floral foam and single-use plastics. After your event, we'll carefully disassemble our arrangements, compost plant materials, and properly dispose of non-plant elements.

The Proper Hotel Event Spaces
Each of our designs are completely unique and are based on seasonal availability and the aesthetic coordination in partnership with Austin Proper interiors. Our principle philosophy is to use only what is in season and sustainably available in order to provide the best quality product at the time of your event.
Our starting investment serves as a baseline for our design work. Please inquire if you would like to expand florals beyond package offerings, or include candle rentals. Pricing is inclusive of delivery, installation and breakdown.
Mirabeau Ballroom
The Mirabeau Ballroom offers a distinctive setting for Austin affairs. Available partitioned or whole, the Ballroom holds a sizable dance floor and generous dining configurations. The scene transitions gracefully to a private stone terrace with a southwestern Shoal Creek and Texas Hill Country view. A dramatic stairway installation of patchwork vintage rugs welcomes your guests to a unique dining space.

The Quill
Tucked away on the second floor is the Proper’s well-appointed lounge room, The Quill. Styled with elegantly laid back lounges and vignettes, these cozy seating zones come dressed with a myriad of interesting bud vases in addition to a specialty coffee table design through our partnership with the hotel. Our weekly florals endeavor to keep in tune with the quirky and rich atmosphere of the space while ensuring our complimenting floral fittings suit an array of event types.

Peacock private dining room
For ultra luxury and specialty gatherings, the Peacock Private Dining Room is an oasis of design and top tier hospitality. The intimacy and opulence of the room provides an ideal setting for verdant flowers to compliment the family or plated style service. This room is home to one of our most coveted antique vases within the hotel.

Moonlight
Business lunches and cocktail hours come alive in the Moonlight space and terrace, which overlooks Austin’s lakeside greenscape. This room also shares a terrace and pre-function space with Morning Glory, Room 1. Down to the herringbone-pattern wood flooring, this well-appointed setting provides impeccable design by Kelly Wearstler, A/V capability, built in Apple TV and speakers, and the service of the Proper events team.

Morning glory
Warmth radiates from the Morning Glory space, offering an inspiring and inviting atmosphere for a variety of occasions. This room is outfitted with a bar, and shares a green terrace and pre-function space with its neighbor room, Moonlight. Morning Glory is best suited for intimate dinner occasions and professional meetings. Enliven your conversations by adding our florals with a selection of unique vessels curated in partnership with designer Kelly Wearstler.

Goldies
Meet-and-greets await just beyond the reception in the privacy of this intimate and eclectic cocktail bar, which houses some of our favourite floral designs as part of our weekly refresh service for the hotel. The feature bar highlights two of our specialty designs framed on either end, adding to the impact and visual interest of the unique backdrop, while each seating vignette comes dressed with a bud vase to complete the space.
